Caught in the Act - Brushing Teeth

I found my little one brushing his teeth (he's pretty particular about this, but it's the first time I saw him brushing with his sister's toothbrush and his! I know his big sister would go berserk if she knew!!

And no, he didn't get in trouble, he got camera shy!

A Photo (or two) a day

I've decided I need to get my camera out more often - so I've set a challenge for myself to take a photo (or two) each day for the month of February. And since Feb is a short month, I thought I'd start now - and what better way than my daughter starting grade 3.

Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairytale...

E-Sessions

Congratulations – you’ve gotten engaged! This is a great time in your life and should be enjoyed, but after the fun and excitement of showing off the ring, you’ve got some real work to do.

Getting engaged means planning a wedding and weddings are work.

So why not treat yourselves to a Complimentary Engagement Session (E-session) with us? These E-Sessions are a fantastic way to get to know us, and for us to get to know you!

For the first five couples who contact me, I will shoot their E-session for free (which is approx 1-2 hours). It couldn't get any easier, and will be probably be the easiest part of planning your wedding....

Contact us today.....

March In Melbourne - Yervant's Workshop

I am SO excited, I got an email from a lovely photographer friend of mine, Kym Berry, asking me if I wanted to go to Melbourne to attend *Yervant's 4 day Photography Workshop in Melbourne!! *Yervant is internationally eminent amongst the TOP 5 Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

We had talked about it previously, but I didn't think I'd be able to attend. But Kym's email was just perfect timing, and we decided that I could attend! I can't wait!!

I don't know what I'm more excited about - working with Yervant for 4 days (I saw him at the August Exposure conference and he was just so inspiring), sharing accommodation with 4 other great photographers, or just to have the chance to go back to Melbourne and shoot the amazing city which I LOVE so much!!!

It is going to be huge!! And as you can see from his flyer that I have attached, there won't be much rest for the wicked!!!

After the workshop has finished, I will also be catching up with my fantastic sister in law and her lovely fiancee and staying with them the Friday night and Saturday morning....

I can't wait!!! I'm sure I'll have more info to post before Mid March!!!

Welcoming 2009!!

Wow, it's 2009 and I'm so, so excited! A new year always brings with it a sense of hope and feels like the perfect time for changes....

This year I’ve made commitments to myself, my family and my business.

It will be a year of fun, exploration, growth, hard work (and hopefully some travelling too!). I’m going to do a lot of things I’ve always wanted to do - especially taking more photos!!

Starting with my career, I will be taking it to the limit, with lots of new ideas, give always, sensational packages, attending more courses and being inspired by those amazing photographers who are wonderful friends, who I am so lucky to have around me (and it always helps having my husband who is a brilliant photographer in the house with me!).

As for personal goals I plan on making more time for the people and things that I love.

It’s 2009 and I’m stepping up to the plate and I just can't wait!!!

See you all soon

Lisa
