August Exposure 2009
No, it's not a nudist conference (haha) it is a 4 day event which is incredibly run by Shirlene and Rob Heyman in response to the needs of wedding and portrait photographers. In Shirl's and Rob's words "It is a week of intense learning, inspiration, problem solving, support and networking in an environment of respect and positive attitudes!!!"
The guest speakers were amazing - total inspirations (as they were last year) and this really gives photographers a really big kick up the backside to get out there and work their business better!!!!
If you are a photographer and haven't been to this incredible event, you are MISSING OUT!!! Do yourself a favour and go next year!!!
I am so excited and at the moment my head is absolutely full of things I MUST do, NEED to do and WANT to do - so look out!!!!

COPYRIGHT REMINDER
Copyright Reminder…
Just a reminder…it is illegal (and not nice!) to reproduce professional photographs. Some people mistakenly think that it’s fine to copy a print once they have paid for it, or that copying is permissible if they don’t plan to sell the image. Both are false.
Copying images without the artist’s permission is illegal and punishable by up to a $150,000 fine. Scanning, emailing or making copies at a copy center or at home are all illegal.
Professional portraits are not required to have a stamp or copyright notation to indicate copyright, although this is indicated on the back of many prints. It is understandable that you love your images and want to share them. That means the photographer did their job well and should be fairly compensated for their hard work.
I go to great lengths and expense to use only the best equipment and professional photo finishing services to create a top-quality product. Scans create embarrassingly low-quality images that can unfairly harm a photographer’s reputation.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who copies my work without permission. Copyright violations will be prosecuted.
